The New Highway 40 's - a - Comin'.......

The time has come. St. Louis will be a bit topsy - turvy for awhile. Four years to be exact. Construction on I-64, also known as highway 40 , shall continue for the next 4 years. Unfortunately, this will cause major headaches for many of the motorists in the St. Louis Metropolitan area, including me. The main area to be worked on will be the stretch of highway located between Spoede rd. ( pronounced " Spadey " ) and Kingshighway Blvd.


I've been trying to find as many alternative routes as possible since I tend to use I-64 on a regular basis. However; this is not an easy task. If you know anything about St. Louis Missouri at all, you'll be aware of the road construction that is in process the majority of the time. There always seems to be some sort of work being done on the roads and highways most of the time. Needless to say, it would really be nice to have another home to go to in another state for the next 4 years.....

Of course I'm kidding. I've lived in St. Louis all of my life and would never want to leave. Traveling is one thing but the thought of leaving my hometown of St. Louis would make me sad. I love it here.
